We open with a girl dancing alone in the Juice Bar, because I guess every Angel Grove teenager has free roam of the establishment. Kat walks in and watches her in a way I can only describe as longing.

Turbo #14 – A Drive to Win

We open at soccer practice, where…OH.

Turbo #13 – The Millennium Message

We open with Tommy and Tanya whaling on a punching bag at the Juice Bar. Kat, Justin, and Adam arrive, the latter wearing a magician’s costume that the stunt show put him in. Bulk grabs his wand in the hopes of using it to turn back into a human, but as he waves it, the whole Juice Bar begins to tremble.

Turbo #12 – Alarmed and Dangerous

We open with Justin taking a test at school. Aiming to cheat off of the whiz kid, two bullies harass him until all three are thrown out by Ms. Appleby, who doesn’t realize Justin was innocent in the exchange.

Turbo #11 – Weight and See

We open with Divatox’s goons arguing about which way to steer the ship, causing them to crash straight into Angel Grove Cliffs. This sends Divatox over the edge, as she vows to blow the Rangers out of the water — literally.

Turbo #10 – Glyph Hanger

We open with…I don’t even know?

A man is walking through what is clearly Angel Grove Park with a bunch of knock-off Egyptian artifacts, vowing that the Staff of Power will be his and nothing will stop him from taking over Egypt. Then…

Turbo #9 – The Whole Lie

We get yet another opening of Tommy zooming around on a race track, which is just as enthralling as the other fifty times we’ve seen it.

Turbo #8 – Bicycle Built for the Blues

We open at the garage, where the Rangers are frantically putting together a surprise party for Justin. He gets there early and knocks on the door, and Kat remarks that he was supposed to be at “practice.”

Turbo #7 – Built for Speed

We open with a scene set in a 50s diner, in which two greasers are fighting over a poodle girl. A fight breaks out, and we see that one of the greasers is, oddly, Adam.

Turbo #6 – Rally Ranger

We open with Justin about to win a soapbox car race until a jealous kid bumps him off the road. Kat and Adam rush to his side to make sure he’s okay, but he’s more bummed about the state of his car than anything.
