Turbo #40 – Carlos and the Count

We open with Bulk and Skull hosting a scary movie festival at the Juice Bar, which is probably one of the more realistic community events in the show so far.

Turbo #39 – The Curve Ball

We open at one of TJ’s baseball games, the first we’ve seen despite it supposedly being his reason for coming to Angel Grove. He gives some advice to a fellow player, because apparently they don’t have a coach, but a communicator chime sends him and Carlos running despite the game still being in progress.

Turbo #38 – Cassie’s Best Friend

Okay, I assumed this episode was going to be about Vicki, but given the Wiki accidentally spoiled that she only appears in the one episode, I guess we’re going to be introducing some new rando here.

Turbo #37 – The Accident

Well, that’s an ominous title.

Turbo #36 – The Song of Confusion

We open with Cassie and a random girl performing a song at the Juice Bar, so I guess the show does remember this cast’s pre-Ranger dreams.

Turbo #35 – Spirit of the Woods

We open with a montage of the forest set to some pretty ominous music. A group of local teens drives through in a Jeep, and not only do they trample the flowers, but they dump their trash on the ground.

Turbo #34 – The Turn of the Wretched Wrench

I love when the titles of episodes include references that there’s absolutely no way the kids watching this would get.

Turbo #33 – Fire in Your Tank

We open with TJ taking Lightning Cruiser out for a ride, testing some new booster fuel Carlos and Justin have installed. At the same time, Divatox is running a boot camp for her monsters while heckling them from the sidelines.

Turbo #32 – The Gardener of Evil

We open with the magic coin essentially melting the pinball machine from the inside out, which Lt. Stone blames on the fact that Bulk and Skull put in a foreign coin.

Turbo #31 – Beware the Third Wish

We open with the Rangers tossing coins into a fountain and making wishes. Ashley wishes for world peace, but before Justin can make his wish, Carlos interrupts and points out that the coin he’s about to use is the one his dad gave him.
