Kimberly is rushed to the emergency room, Kat at her side as she fills the doctors in on what happened. As Kimberly drifts in and out of consciousness, Kat repeats that it was all her fault, but she’s ushered out so the doctors can do their work. A nurse promises a guilt-stricken Kat that she’ll update her if she hears any news.

On the moon, Zedd and Rita are furious about Kat’s betrayal, and Finster reports that her selfless deed of saving Kimberly neutralized the spell, meaning she’s no longer under their control whatsoever.

Now, I actually have no idea what Tommy’s going to decide here, so I’m going to take a guess and say that, despite their friend being in mortal danger, the simplicity of this show won’t allow the Rangers to actually agree to do the bidding of evil, so I think he’s going to say no.

Hello from not a Friday! I’ve actually managed to get pretty far ahead in the writing of these, so as a special treat, for the remainder of Mighty Morphin, I’ll be trying something new. When multi-parters happen, I’ll be spreading them out over the course of a week rather than posting only one a week. One-off episodes will remain one a week, though!

There are a bunch of multi-parters to come, which is fine by me — while they can be hit or miss, I’ve generally found Power Rangers storytelling is at its best when it’s allowed to breathe over a few episodes.
