Also, I was originally going to include this batch of episodes as parts 34-43 of Mighty Morphin season three, but instead, I’m going to treat them more like the miniseries they’re meant as. Not quite the next season, but also different from the past.

Mighty Morphin #3.32 – The Sound of Dischordia

We open with Aisha and Kat singing in an as-yet-unseen music room at Angel Grove High, where Kat is feeling down on herself because she can’t get the harmony down. Tommy pipes in that they sound good to him, but she shrugs and says Aisha should just find another partner for the school song competition.

Aisha and Tommy assure her she’s doing great as Bulk and Skull shatter the glass of the classroom door with their own singing. Kat giggles, thinking she might just have a shot, after all.

Zordon manages to recharge some of the Rangers’ powers with a surge directly from the Morphing Grid, but it’s still limited, so they’re forced to helplessly watch what a banner outside the Juice Bar is now declaring “Master Vile’s End of the World Party.”

Zedd demands Kat prove her dedication to evil by stepping inside a device that will drain all of the remaining good out of her. Rita makes a point of noting that it only works on people who were once evil, and once Kat’s inside, Zedd adds that it’s irreversible.
