FULL THEME SONG THIS TIME. HECK YES. We open on a dark and stormy night in Angel Grove, where Tanya is drifting off in the study room next to Adam.

We have the shortened version of the theme song again this episode. I’m livid.

This episode’s theme song is randomly an abridged version of the Zeo theme, which is some bullshit.

Tommy is jazzed by the news that he has a long-lost brother. David explains that Sam adopted him and raised him on the local reservation. Tommy adds that he was adopted, too (which is NEWS TO ME), but that his parents never told him he had a brother.

Well, that’s a succinct title. We pick up right where we left off last episode, with Tommy and the mystery horse rider, so this is kind of an unofficial multi-parter.

So. Today we’ll be getting back into Tommy’s Native American heritage. To quote myself back when we first learned of it: “I’m just going to preface this episode by saying you should probably just assume that everything you’re about to see is incorrect.”

At the Power Chamber, Zordon asks the Rangers if they know what the greenhouse effect is, and naturally Billy is able to answer. Kat, Tanya, and Adam all chime off its causes in succession, while Rocky doubts that it alone is the reason it’s so unseasonably hot.

We open with Heather clinging to a branch sticking out of the cliff, still screaming for help. The Rangers are unable to see her, but Kat determines she must be trapped somewhere out of sight.

It’s been a MINUTE since we’ve had a multi-parter. In fact, other than the season opener, we haven’t had any yet from this season. So let’s see what Zeo’s got to offer!
