We open with a student named Steven roller-skating through the halls of Angel Grove High, which is definitely not allowed. Indeed, a teacher chases after him, screeching his name and running straight into Tommy and Kat.

Tommy decides that, being the king of the Machine Empire, he needs to fight Jason for himself — potentially putting to an end thousands of playground battles about which of them would win in a fight.

Ready for our first multi-parter in a WHILE? We open with Tommy in the Power Chamber, which is weird given we saw him kidnapped last episode. But we quickly realize it’s a dream, as the White Ranger costume behind the glass comes to life and approaches him menacingly.

I think we’ve all been wondering the answer to that question. We open with the Ranger in question — Tommy, in case you haven’t been watching them call out their numbers every morphing sequence like I have — shredding on a jet ski.
